BIO
Adam Thomas Brown is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Austin, Texas. His heart on the sleeve songwriting blends elements of indie folk, alt country and psych rock.
Brown was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. After graduating high school, he left the piney woods of Northeast Texas and headed to the front range mountains of Northern Colorado to attend Colorado State University. While living in Fort Collins, Brown performed as a singer-songwriter under his full name and as the lead guitarist and co-vocalist for the psych folk band Mosey West. He released three albums with the band: 'Vaca Money' (2011), 'Merica' (2012) and 'Bermuda' (2014).
In 2017, he moved back to his home state of Texas where he now resides with his family in the hill country southwest of Austin. Brown self-released his debut solo record, 'Another Lonely Ghost' in 2019. The album was recorded at Mountain Star Studio in Black Hawk, Colorado and was co-produced, engineered and mixed by Nicholas Frampton (Field Division) and mastered by Doug Van Sloun (First Aid Kit, Damien Jurado) at Focus Mastering in Omaha, Nebraska.
Brown has shared the stage supporting notable touring acts including Lydia Loveless, Noah Gundersen, Susto, Futurebirds, Charlie Parr, The Deer, Lucero, Lukas Nelson, Heartless Bastards and many more. He is currently writing songs to be released on his sophomore solo album.
