Adam Thomas Brown is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Austin, Texas. His cathartic, heart-on-the-sleeve songwriting blends elements of indie folk, alt country, and psych rock.
Brown was born and raised in the piney woods of East Texas and lived in Northern Colorado from 2001-2017 where he performed as a singer-songwriter under his full name and as the lead guitarist and co-vocalist for the Fort Collins, Colorado based indie folk band Mosey West, releasing three albums with the group: 'Vaca Money' (2011), 'Merica' (2012) and 'Bermuda' (2014).
He returned to Texas in 2017 and now resides in the hill country southwest of Austin. Brown released his debut solo record, 'Another Lonely Ghost', in 2019. The album was recorded at Mountain Star Studio in Black Hawk, Colorado and was co-produced, engineered, and mixed by Nicholas Frampton (Field Division), and mastered by Doug Van Sloun (First Aid Kit, Damien Jurado) at Focus Mastering in Omaha, Nebraska.
Brown has shared the stage supporting Susto, Futurebirds, Lydia Loveless, Noah Gundersen, Charlie Parr, The Deer, Lucero, Lukas Nelson, Heartless Bastards and many more. He is currently writing songs for his sophomore solo album.
